This role leads technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations, and technical validation, translating customer needs into practical solutions that align with LBMX capabilities. Working closely with Sales, Product, Customer Experience, and Implementation, the Solutions Engineer also helps ensure each customer is positioned for a successful transition from sales to delivery through complete solution documentation, implementation readiness, and effective knowledge transfer.\nPositions Available: 1\nWhat you will do:\nPartner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle on enterprise opportunities across LBMX Trade and Supply Cloud.\nLead technical discovery sessions to understand customer environments, business processes, trading partner ecosystems, EDI requirements, ERP integrations, rebate program structures, billing models, and operational workflows.\nDesign customer-specific solutions that align business objectives and technical requirements with LBMX platform capabilities.\nDeliver compelling product demonstrations, solution workshops, and technical discussions tailored to customer use cases and audiences.\nServe as the technical expert during customer meetings, addressing integration, implementation, security, scalability, and platform capability questions.\nHelp articulate business value and ROI by connecting LBMX capabilities to automation, efficiency, data visibility, and customer outcomes.\nIdentify technical risks, assumptions, dependencies, and product gaps early in the sales cycle and communicate them clearly to internal stakeholders.\nCreate and maintain solution documentation, architecture diagrams, proposal content, technical responses, and discovery outputs for assigned opportunities.\nCollaborate with Product teams to provide field feedback on customer requirements, competitive insights, and product gaps.\nOwn the technical handoff from Sales to Customer Experience and Implementation for assigned customers.\nEnsure discovery findings, business requirements, proposed solutions, integrations, assumptions, commitments, and customer expectations are fully documented before project kickoff.\nParticipate in internal transition meetings and customer kickoff meetings, as appropriate, to ensure implementation teams are positioned for success.\nPartner with the Chief Customer Officer, Customer Experience, and Implementation teams to improve implementation readiness, reduce delivery risk, and support a positive onboarding experience.\nContribute to standardized demo environments, discovery templates, solution design tools, and reusable technical content.\nSupport internal enablement by helping educate Sales and Customer teams on platform capabilities, use cases, and solution positioning.\nWhat you will bring:\n5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, Professional Services, or a similar customer-facing technical role within a SaaS or B2B technology environment.\nExperience supporting enterprise, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in partnership with Account Executives.\nStrong understanding of B2B integrations, such as EDI, APIs, ERP connectivity, or complex data workflows.\nAbility to translate customer business and technical requirements into practical solution designs.\nExceptional product demonstration, presentation, and facilitation skills.\nAbility to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and executive audiences.\nStrong business acumen and the ability to connect technical capabilities to measurable customer value.\nExcellent written communication, documentation, organization, and attention to detail.\nAbility to manage multiple opportunities and priorities while working effectively across Sales, Product, Customer Experience, and Implementation.\nHigh degree of professionalism, initiative, accountability, and ability to work independently.\nCompensation\nSalary Range: $ annually, based on experience and qualifications\nWhat You Can Expect at LBMX\nCompetitive compensation and a comprehensive benefit package, including a health spending account and employee assistance program\nThree weeks’ vacation and five personal days to start, plus additional paid LBMX holidays throughout the year\nCompany matched GRSP contributions\nFlexible summer hours and a strong commitment to work-life balance\nEducation subsidies to support your professional growth\nMaternity, Parental, and Compassionate Care Leave top-up program\n$500 new hire home office allowance\nLBMX is committed to building an inclusive workplace.
