You will also assist with crisis support, investigating criminal activity, and mitigating corporate risk.\nIf you are a dedicated security professional, come join the LCBO and help ensure the safety of our retail stores and staff!\nAbout the Role\nOversee the Retail contract security program and ensure compliance. \nInvestigate security incidents and provide risk-reduction recommendations. \nManage HQ security systems, access control, and emergency responses. \nSupervise video evidence review and support the Video Unit Coordinator. \nConduct electronic sweeps, manage security installations, and develop safety policies. \nValidate access requests, review incident reports, and approve security-related payments. \nAssist in contract security company audits. \nVisit LCBO Retail Store locations and meet with Retail staff re: guarding and LCBO equipment concerns. \nAfter-hours support may be required. \nRequired Qualifications\nPost-Secondary Certificate in Security Administration/Police Foundations or equivalent. \nMinimum 5 years’ experience in security, preferably in retail or government. \nValid First Aid and CPR certification. \nExperience in retail security and law enforcement \nProficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and security monitoring equipment. \nAbility to travel throughout Ontario as needed. \nPreferred Qualifications\nDegree in Criminal Justice or related field. \nAdditional certifications like Use of Force, Crisis Management, and CPP designation. \nExperience contract management and RFP/Procurement process. \nStrong communication, administrative, and organizational skills. \nWe offer a comprehensive suite of benefits including:\nAccess to an Employee & Family Assistance Program.\nA Defined Benefit Pension.\nDiscounts on products and services via Workperks.\nThere is a world of opportunities at the LCBO…\nJoin an organization where you can be challenged while achieving your true potential.
