You’ll find several opportunities to grow as a professional, serve the community, and enhance the lives of seniors.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nAs a Corporate Communications Intern, you’ll contribute to projects that help shape the voice of our company to internal and external audiences. This role is a unique opportunity to get hands-on experience in multiple areas including internal communications, social media, and external communications.\nWork with the corporate communications team on internal communications, media relations, and social media content planning. \nAssist with the planning and management of internal communication campaigns. \nPrioritize a workload of multiple projects from concept to completion.\nThe intern will support all functions of the team with a focus on digital and social media.\nAdditional support for media relations, team organization, and communications content production as needed.\nWork closely with teams within corporate communications, human resources, marketing and company agencies to plan and implement work. \nContribute to real projects that will be implemented within the organization \nCollaborate with leaders and team members across departments \nParticipate in professional development and networking opportunities \nPresent your project and summer experience to the senior leadership team at the conclusion of the internship \nGain a broad understanding of our industry and operations through mentorship, training, and shadowing opportunities \nWhat We’re Looking For:\nCurrently enrolled in a college or university program \nStrong communication, problem solving, and collaboration skills\nEagerness to learn and contribute to a mission-driven organization \nAbility to work full-time (40 hours/week) throughout the 12-week program \nPassionate about writing and communications\nAbility to multitask with an awareness for timing and urgency \nStrong attention to detail \nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite\nKnowledge of AP Style preferred but not required \nWhy join us?\nHands-on experience in a professional environment \nMentorship and exposure to senior leadership \nOpportunities for networking and career development\nMeaningful project work that makes an impact \nCompetitive hourly rate: $22.50/hour\nOur Commitment\nLCS creates living experiences that enhance the lives of seniors.
