Conducting under supervisor direction, preventive maintenance, routine servicing, seasonal repairs and changes, building equipment and plumbing repairs.\nEssential Job Duties:\nPerforms general maintenance duties, such as: fixing wall covers, floor covers and some furniture and fixtures; light plumbing work, minor electrical repair and appliance repairs.\nCompletes assigned work orders daily according to work order system policy.\nPerforms painting and refurbishing projects, as directed by supervisor.\nPerforms routine preventive maintenance, as directed by supervisor.\nInstalls locks, creates keys, re-key cylinders, and tracks outstanding keys for entire campus.\nTroubleshoot and install PERS call system.\nInstalls phone, cable, and network lines.\nFixes plumbing and lighting fixtures.\nTests, fixes, install, and replace appliances.\nTroubleshoots heating and cooling systems.\nHangs pictures, moves furniture, and assists residents with daily non-health care needs.\nAccomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.\nPerforms specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.\nEQUIPMENT USED\nThe General Maintenance employee will use the following equipment: construction and maintenance tools and supplies, heavy machinery, motorized vehicles, electrical appliances, computer and various computer programs, copy machine, fax machine, calculator, and heavy phone usage.\nWellness Focus:\nCarillon Senior Living employees are expected to promote a healthy community culture for all residents and employees.
