You will work with Kotlin/Java and Spring on the server side and React, Vite, and TypeScript on the frontend, helping deliver high-quality product experiences from API to interface.\nWe value strong engineering fundamentals, attention to detail, collaboration, and engineers who are comfortable learning and applying modern technologies.\nCore Functions of the Role\nDesign, build, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications that distribute high-value information to our customers.\n\nDevelop backend services and APIs using Kotlin/Java, Spring, and related technologies.\n\nBuild modern frontend experiences using React, Vite, and TypeScript.\n\nApply sound component architecture, state-management, asynchronous data-fetching, accessibility, and render-performance practices.\n\nWork with relational and NoSQL databases, Elasticsearch, and large datasets.\n\nParticipate throughout the Agile development lifecycle, including sprint planning, design sessions, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.\n\nCollaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality client experiences.\n\nContribute to code reviews, technical design, engineering standards, and improvements to team practices.\n\nAbout You\n2+ years of professional software development experience for mid-level candidates or 6+ years for senior-level candidates.\n\nStrong computer science and software engineering fundamentals through a CS-related degree or equivalent professional experience.\n\nStrong proficiency in Kotlin and Java, with experience building server-side applications using Spring or an equivalent framework.\n\nStrong proficiency building React/Vite applications with TypeScript.\n\nStrong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, query languages, and data best practices.\n\nKnowledge of HTTP, REST, and API design and development.\n\nFamiliarity with state management and asynchronous data-fetching patterns such as TanStack Query.\n\nAttention to frontend component architecture and render performance.\n\nWorking knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG/ARIA.\n\nExperience with automated testing, including unit and integration/end-to-end testing.\n\nExperience with Git or other source-control software.\n\nAI-Augmented Software Development\nAI-assisted development is an important part of how we approach modern software engineering. We are particularly interested in candidates who meaningfully use tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot, or comparable coding agents in their regular workflow.\nWe want engineers who use AI to expand what they can accomplish while retaining responsibility for understanding and validating the result.\nUse AI to understand unfamiliar codebases, research technologies, plan implementations, write and modify code, develop tests, debug problems, refactor systems, and automate repetitive work.\nCritically evaluate AI-generated solutions, recognize incorrect assumptions, validate implementations, and know when direct engineering investigation is the better approach.\nExperience with repository-level agent instructions, reusable agent workflows, MCP integrations, custom tooling, or agentic development processes is a plus.\nAdditional Experience We'd Value\nExperience with some of the following is preferred;
