Improve, enhance and correct systems as necessary\n\n· Achieve key Systems Development Life Cycle stages in terms of quantity, timing and quality of all aspects of work allocated\n\n· Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with required standards, methods and procedures\n\nSupport:\n\n· Create development and support documentation and provide advice regarding applications to enable support function to work pro-actively\n\n· Contribute to conduct of post implementation reviews to assess the effectiveness of the testing solution provided\n\n· Contribute to the review and redesign of processes or procedures, on an ongoing basis, to deliver improved team productivity or efficiency\n\n· Provide key support on fail and fix for assigned application/s\n\nTesting:\n\n· Undertake complex testing activities in relation to software solutions ensuring these meet agreed specifications\n\n· Develop comprehensive test scripts and scenarios based on testing plan in accordance with standard procedures and templates\n\n· Execute test cases, check and document results to ensure the systems technical, functional and\n\nnon-functional (e.g. elementary load testing) requirements are met \n\n· Contribute to testing of any actions taken to rectify users problems to ensure user and system requirements are met and that changes\n\nintegrate with production system\n\n· Make initial diagnosis of problems, for a system or sub-system or apply known solutions, including documenting problems, progress\n\nchecking, and escalation to ensure resolution\n\nAdditional responsibilities:\n\n· Appropriately use progress/tracking tools and complete administration activities\n\n· Test, launch and help train users in new systems\n\n· Work with business users (in conjunction with Business Analysts) to clarify requirements, resolve issues\n\n· Document systems and produce desk procedures for ongoing user use.
