You will act as the subject matter expert, translating data insights and analysis into new data models, clarify any questions about data inquiries, and partner with departments to help utilize current data models to their advantage. As a data engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining key business metrics and guiding new data discovery processes to increase efficiency and growth of the department. (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Economics) or equivalent professional experience.\n\nExperience in dbt (data build tool), including macros, packages, and CI/CD integration for data modeling.\n\n2+ years of experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks).\n\n2+ years of experience with SQL and Python, specifically geared toward complex data transformation and automation.\n\n2+ years of experience designing modular data models (Dimensional Modeling, Data Vault, or One Big Table).\n\nAbility to translate complex business logic and metadata into instructions that ensure AI-generated insights are accurate, grounded, and governed.\n\nProven expertise in end-to-end data pipeline design, focusing on ELT patterns and data quality frameworks.\n\nStrong understanding of data governance, including data lineage, cataloging, and security compliance.\n\nNice to Have Skills\nExperience working with BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and enabling \"Self-Service\" analytics for business stakeholders.\n\nFamiliarity with orchestration tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Dagster, Prefect) and version control (Git).\n\nSoft
