This role will validate KQL and SQL-based transformations, business logic, data reconciliation, and data quality across a Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold).\nThe ideal candidate combines strong data engineering and testing skills with a modern AI-enabled quality engineering mindset, using AI-assisted tools to accelerate test development, defect analysis, root-cause investigation, and technical documentation. \nRequired Skills & Experience\nSenior-level experience in Quality Engineering, Data QA, Data Engineering QA, or a closely related discipline. testing data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data transformations.\n\nMid-to-senior level SQL proficiency, including the ability to write complex queries for:\n\nData validation\n\nReconciliation\n\nAggregation verification\n\nDuplicate detection\n\nCompleteness checks\n\nTransformation validation\n\nRoot-cause investigation\n\nDemonstrated experience designing and executing data-focused test strategies rather than solely application/UI testing.\n\nExperience with test automation frameworks, automated data validation, or QA automation.\n\nExperience working with cloud-based data platforms and data-processing services.\n\nExperience using an AI coding/development assistant such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Kiro, Amazon Q Developer, or a comparable tool for debugging, test development, code analysis, or technical documentation.\n\nShould have experience with the individual Azure-native services that make up the Fabric capabilities (i.e. Azure Data Factory, Azure Notebook, Databricks, etc.).\n\nFamiliarity with Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).\n\nOptional Experience testing pipelines implemented with KQL.\n\nSoft Skills\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills.\n\nAbility to work independently and within a team environment.\n\nStrong communication skills with the ability to articulate, diagram and document complex engineering concepts.\n\nWhy you will love GTS:\nJoin a powerful tech workforce and help us change the world through technology\n\nProfessional development opportunities with international customers\n\nCollaborative work environment\n\nCareer path and mentorship programs that will lead to new levels.\n\nJoin GTS and contribute to shaping the data landscape within a dynamic and growing organization.
