This role combines deep Oracle OTM expertise with strong SRE, cloud, automation, observability, and production operations capabilities.\nThe ideal candidate has at least 10 years of overall IT/SRE experience, including 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Transportation Management experience across both on-premises and SaaS/cloud environments. This person will be responsible for maintaining platform reliability, troubleshooting complex production issues, improving observability, automating operational processes, and driving long-term reliability improvements.\nRequired Skills & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.\n\n10+ years of overall IT/SRE experience.\n\nStrong production troubleshooting and observability/APM experience, \n5+ years of exclusive, hands-on Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) experience.\n\nDemonstrated experience supporting OTM in both on-premises and SaaS/cloud environments.\n\nStrong knowledge of OTM architecture, configuration, integrations, interfaces, deployments, production support, and troubleshooting.\n\nHands-on SRE experience across:\n\nIncident response\n\nMonitoring and observability\n\nRoot cause analysis\n\nPerformance tuning\n\nAutomation\n\nCapacity planning\n\nReliability engineering\n\nStrong scripting and automation skills with Python, Bash, Shell, or similar technologies.\n\nStrong troubleshooting knowledge across applications, infrastructure, networking, databases, APIs, and middleware.\n\nExperience with production incident, problem, and change management within ITIL/SRE environments.\n\nAbility to work effectively with distributed teams in a fast-paced production environment.\n\nExperience with OTM SaaS migrations, upgrades, releases, patching, and environment transitions.\n\nNice to Have:\nExperience supporting large-scale OTM implementations and mission-critical transportation or logistics platforms.\n\nExperience with GCP and cloud-native technologies.\n\nKnowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized environments.\n\nExperience supporting Java and .NET enterprise applications.\n\nExperience with Kafka, REST/SOAP APIs, enterprise integrations, databases, and distributed systems.\n\nExperience building automated health checks, operational dashboards, alerting, and self-healing capabilities.\n\nStrong understanding of performance engineering, scalability, high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.\n\nDemonstrated success identifying recurring operational problems and driving automation or permanent remediation.\n\nExperience working with complex enterprise integration ecosystems.\n\nExcellent attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders\n\nExperience with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or comparable IaC/configuration-management tools.\nSoft Skills\nStrong problem-solving and debugging skills\n\nAbility to work independently and take ownership of projects\n\nStrong communication skills.\n\nWhy you will love GTS:\nJoin a powerful tech workforce and help us change the world through technology\n\nProfessional development opportunities with international customers\n\nCollaborative work environment\n\nCareer path and mentorship programs that will lead to new levels.\n\nJoin GTS and contribute to shaping the data landscape within a dynamic and growing organization.
