A better future?\nJob Description\nAs an Advanced Regional Manufacturing Engineer (AME), you will support the industrialization, launch, and continuous improvement of electronics manufacturing operations. This role partners closely with engineering, production, quality, suppliers, and global manufacturing teams to drive manufacturing excellence, improve efficiency, and ensure successful program execution.\nResponsibilities\nSupport new product launches and industrialization activities through regular reviews to ensure successful execution.\nCoordinate with equipment suppliers, system integrators, and manufacturing teams to implement manufacturing solutions.\nSupport EMS and outsourced manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with production and quality requirements.\nOptimize manufacturing footprint and capacity utilization to improve shop floor efficiency and productivity.\nLead equipment upgrades, technology transfers, and the implementation of advanced manufacturing processes.\nDevelop, validate, and improve manufacturing equipment and automation solutions, including modular assembly concepts.\nCollaborate with Quality, Production, and Engineering teams to resolve manufacturing issues and improve process performance.\nProvide DFM and PFMEA input, support continuous improvement initiatives, update design guidelines, and contribute to manufacturability reviews for new programs.\nExperience Requirements\nBachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.\n3+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing.\nStrong knowledge of SMT and THT manufacturing processes.\nExperience with electronics assembly, inspection systems, and process validation activities.\nExperience with manufacturing industrialization, automation technologies, problem-solving, and data analysis.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nLear Corporation is committed to fair, merit-based employment practices and equal opportunity.\nWe provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable law.
