A better future?\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Plant Controller to support the financial performance of our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will partner with the Plant Controller and cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis, maintain accurate reporting, ensure compliance with internal controls, and support operational decision-making.\nResponsibilities\nSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.\nAnalyze plant performance, manufacturing costs, and profitability trends to identify improvement opportunities.\nAssist with inventory valuation, standard costing, and bill of materials (BOM) costing activities.\nEnsure compliance with accounting policies, SOX requirements, and internal control procedures.\nPrepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports and analyses for management.\nReview customer and supplier pricing data and evaluate turnover, margins, and profitability.\nMaintain financial data within ERP and reporting systems, including Hyperion.\nSupport month-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.\nPartner with operational teams to resolve financial and business issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.\nMinimum 3 years of experience in financial controlling, accounting, or auditing.\nFluency in English and Italian.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills.\nExperience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools (Hyperion experience is an advantage).\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nWhat We Offer\nOpportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment.\nExposure to financial planning, reporting, and operational finance activities.\nProfessional development and career growth opportunities.\nCollaborative and supportive team culture.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nLear Corporation is committed to fair, merit-based employment practices and equal opportunity.\nWe provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable law.
