A better future?\nJob Description\nAs an Assistant Plant Controller, you play a key role in supporting the plant’s financial performance, reporting accuracy, and compliance activities. You work closely with the Plant Controller and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, maintain strong internal controls, and support operational decision-making in a manufacturing environment.\nResponsibilities\nSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes to deliver accurate and timely financial information.\nAnalyze plant performance, manufacturing costs, and profitability trends to identify improvement opportunities and support loss reduction initiatives.\nEnsure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and SOX requirements within assigned areas.\nPrepare regular and ad hoc financial reports and provide analysis to support business and operational decisions.\nMonitor inventory valuation, standard costing, and bill of materials accuracy to maintain reliable product costing records.\nReview customer and supplier pricing data and analyze turnover, margins, and profitability by product, customer, or market.\nManage financial data maintenance and uploads within ERP and reporting systems, including Hyperion.\nSupport month-end closing activities by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and resolving financial discrepancies.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience.\n2+ years of experience in financial controlling, accounting, auditing, or a related finance function.\nFluency in English and Italian with strong written and verbal communication skills.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with ERP and financial reporting systems.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nLear Corporation is committed to fair, merit-based employment practices and equal opportunity.\nWe provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable law.
