A better future?\nJob Description\nThe Cost Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and presenting accurate and reliable cost estimates for new projects and engineering changes, as well as providing financial insights to support key decision-making by management and the sales department. The role covers multiple plants within the TRIM Group and reports directly to the Regional Costing Department Manager.\nResponsibilities\nPreparing cost calculations and quotations for new and ongoing programs based on customer documentation and available data\nCollaborating closely with other departments to provide preliminary technical and cost-related information for products and proposed solutions\nAnalyzing and updating costs in response to changes in the production process or product design\nPreparing profitability analyses for planned initiatives (business cases)\nVerifying documentation and offers for internal and external customers\nMonitoring costs and ensuring the highest standards in cost estimation\nRequirements\nUniversity degree (preferably in finance, engineering, or a related field)\nExperience in a manufacturing company within finance, engineering, or sales is an advantage\nPrevious experience in a similar role will be considered a plus\nAdvanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, charts, advanced formulas)\nVery good command of English, allowing effective work in an international environment\nStrong analytical and logical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize data\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nSolid organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive attitude\nCategory B driving license\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nLear Corporation is committed to fair, merit-based employment practices and equal opportunity.\nWe provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable law.
