A better future?\nJob Description\nAs an EHS Specialist, you will coordinate and drive the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) program at the Martorell JIT facility, ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable regulations. You will work closely with employees, supervisors, and site leadership to promote a proactive safety culture, reduce workplace risks, and support continuous improvement initiatives across operations.\nResponsibilities\nCoordinate and maintain the site's Environmental, Health, and Safety program to ensure regulatory and company compliance.\nConduct routine safety inspections, audits, and workplace risk assessments across the facility.\nLead job safety analyses and support the implementation of effective risk mitigation measures.\nDeliver EHS training programs, including onboarding, refresher training, and awareness campaigns.\nInvestigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, identifying root causes and corrective actions.\nMonitor EHS performance indicators and prepare reports to support compliance and continuous improvement.\nPartner with operational teams to identify and implement workplace safety improvements.\nSupport emergency preparedness activities, drills, and response plans.\nParticipate in safety committees and promote employee engagement in EHS initiatives.\nEnsure environmental requirements are understood and integrated into daily operations.\nExperience Requirements\nMaster's degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, Environmental Health, or equivalent experience.\n4+ years of experience in environmental, health, and safety roles within a manufacturing environment.\nStrong knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.\nExperience conducting risk assessments, safety inspections, and incident investigations.\nAbility to influence, train, and advise employees and leaders on safe work practices and accident prevention.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nLear Corporation is committed to fair, merit-based employment practices and equal opportunity.\nWe provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable law.
