Central to this initiative is our enterprise investment in Palantir Foundry and the Palantir Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP), enabling unified data, intelligent operations, and AI-powered automation across our global footprint.\nWe are seeking a high-caliber Enterprise Palantir Solution Architect to help architect the next generation of digital, analytical, and AI-driven solutions on our Palantir platforms.\nPosition Overview\nThe Enterprise Palantir Solution Architect provides end-to-end architectural leadership across solution design, development, and production readiness for all Palantir Foundry and AIP initiatives. This role combines enterprise IT architecture expertise with deep platform knowledge, ensuring every solution is secure, scalable, reliable, cost-optimized, and grounded in well-architected data and AI patterns.\nThis leader plays a crucial role from early concept and design reviews through delivery and operations, assessing security, identity and access, compute efficiency, data quality, and long-term maintainability.\nKey Responsibilities\nPalantir Platform Architecture\nServe as Lear’s enterprise authority for Palantir Foundry and AIP, including Ontology, Object Types, Transformations, Feature Sets, AIP Agents, Solution Designer, and developer tooling.\nStay current on Palantir platform releases, including AI FDE, AI Pilot, AIP enhancements, compute changes, and emerging Foundry capabilities.\nDesign scalable, well-patterned data and AI solutions that leverage the strengths of Foundry and AIP.\nSolution Design & Architecture Governance\nLead the end-to-end architecture of solutions - from data ingestion and harmonization to AI/analytics workflows, application experiences, and data delivery endpoints.\nProvide architectural guidance on internal and external integrations, including APIs, event-driven pipelines, data exchanges, partner integrations, and secure data products.\nFacilitate architecture reviews, solution documentation, and alignment with Lear’s enterprise architecture principles.\nSecurity, Identity, and Access Controls\nArchitect secure-by-design solutions using Foundry’s granular permissioning, object-level controls, and lineage-based access patterns.\nEnsure compliance with enterprise security standards, regulatory needs, and global data protection policies.\nPerformance, Compute, and Cost Optimization\nOptimize Foundry compute workloads (PySpark, Code Repositories, Pipelines, applications) for performance, elasticity, and cost efficiency.\nArchitect scalable infrastructure patterns for AIP agents, LLM-backed workflows, and compute-heavy workloads.\nData Quality, Reliability & Intelligent Monitoring\nEnsure solutions include data quality monitoring, validation rules, schema controls, and reliability SLAs.\nDesign automated or “intelligent” data health monitoring patterns, alerting, lineage tracking, and remediation workflows.\nCollaborate closely with ontology and data engineering teams to ensure semantic consistency and trustworthy data foundations.\nProduction Readiness & Operationalization\nConduct detailed production readiness assessments covering architecture, security, performance, data quality, observability, DR/BCP, and support models.\nDevelop reusable components, patterns, accelerators, and templates that increase solution velocity and consistency for all teams.\nPlatform Evangelism & Technical Leadership\nCoach teams on Palantir architecture patterns, platform capabilities, performance optimization, and secure workflows.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering, data science, manufacturing, quality, finance, and commercial stakeholders.\nContribute to platform roadmap discussions and strategic planning as Lear expands its enterprise data and AI ecosystem.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related technical field.\n5+ years of experience in IT architecture, data platforms, or enterprise solution design.\n3-5+ years of hands-on Palantir Foundry architecture experience, including Ontology, pipelines, transformations, application development, and data modeling.\nStrong working knowledge of Palantir AIP, including agent frameworks, LLM workflows, grounding strategies, and secure prompt design.\nExperience designing end-to-end data architectures (ingestion → harmonization → semantic modeling → delivery).\nDeep understanding of identity, access management, security patterns, logging, and compliance considerations.\nExpertise in documenting and communicating architecture designs and reviewing solutions for alignment and quality.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with manufacturing, industrial systems, or supply chain operations (ISA-95, plant hierarchies, OEE, BOM, routings, genealogy).\nKnowledge of MLOps, LLM/RAG patterns, or operational AI systems.\nArchitectural certifications (TOGAF, cloud architecture certifications, etc.).\nExperience designing intelligent monitoring, observability, and reliability engineering patterns.\n\nWhat Success Looks Like\nSolutions consistently meet Lear’s security, architecture, and performance standards.\nFoundry and AIP solutions are built with repeatable patterns, accelerating speed to value.\nEnd-to-end data flows deliver clean, trusted, and actionable data across business functions.\nAIP agents and digital solutions are grounded in well-architected ontologies and reliable data products.\nTeams experience faster delivery, fewer defects, and improved operational excellence across the digital portfolio.\nLear Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to a diverse workplace.\nApplicants must submit their resume for consideration using our applicant tracking system.
