A better future?\nJob Description\nIT COORDINATOR - B SHIFT\nDUNCAN, SC - DUNCAN PLANT\nAs a member of the IT team, the IT Specialist will be responsible to execute all information technology activities assigned the Plant IT Manager during the shift, he also is responsible to provide 1st lever support to the users and shop floor. Incumbents in this classification install computer systems, ensure that backup systems operate effectively, buy hardware and software, develop the IT infrastructure, fill out reports, review and install shop floor hardware (scanners, thin clients, printers, cameras,etc).\nThe Role:\nYour work will include, but not be limited to:\nComplete daily checklist activities\nProviding 1st/ level technical support & problem analysis/rectification\nEnsure documentation and procedures are maintained and improved in accordance with ISMS and Sarbanes Oxley requirements\nEnsuring pro-active monitoring of systems using key performance indicators and dashboards\nEnsuring performance and availability of all computer systems including hardware, networks, IT security and telecommunications\nMonitor Ivanti call logging system and resolve production tickets\nMaintain Computer systems to current corporate standards\nScorecard compliance activities including system patching, antivirus and CM\nPurchasing for all IT operations service requirements\nConfiguring all onsite hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, thin clients, industrial PCs\nDeploying hardware into production environment to agreed schedules within maintenance windows\nProcessing New user equipment requests / processing Leaver data and equipment requests\nProviding support on production systems LearPICS, LPS, LFG\nEnsuring performance and availability of networking infrastructure, ensuring stability of LAN/WAN by proactive monitoring and resolving issues, to include Cisco switch configuration, fault finding and hardware upgrades\nMonitoring Avamar Backup processes\nVirtual Server monitoring and preventative maintenance to ensure 100% uptime\nEnsuring all corporate requirements are delivered satisfactorily and on time\nDisaster recovery corporate compliance and failover testing practices\nSoftware license, inventory, and hardware maintenance management\nGeneral administration and housekeeping of hot swap equipment and materials in IT Storage\nAdvantages of working for Lear at the DUNCAN PLANT:\nExamples: Self-Directed Work teams, opportunities for leadership advancement, strong benefits/perks to highlight\nQualifications\nYour Qualifications:\nFour-year college degree in Information System or five years previous experience in IT field\nOperational knowledge of AS400\nHardware and network troubleshooting skills\nManufacturing industry experience preferred\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nStrong interpersonal and organizational skills\nAbility to work independently or in a team-oriented environment\nMust be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and to multi-task\nKnowledge of security systems (Camera’s, Door Readers, Badge systems)\nKnowledge of networking systems to include how they are designed, capabilities, and limitations, and feasibility of systems\nKnowledge of peripheral equipment and their uses, capabilities and limitations as needed to determine equipment needs\nAbility to support audio visual equipment (TV’s, projectors, paging systems)\nKnowledge of ERP/MRP systems including support of EDI\nBonus If You Have:\nBilingual in Spanish\nPrevious experience working in a JIT manufacturing environment\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nLear Corporation is committed to fair, merit-based employment practices and equal opportunity.\nWe provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable law.
