A better future?\nJob Description\nAs an IT Support Specialist, you will provide hands-on technical support for a manufacturing environment, ensuring reliable IT operations that enable uninterrupted production. You will support end users, infrastructure, networks, and production-critical systems while maintaining system availability, security, and performance across the plant.\nResponsibilities\nProvide first-line technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for hardware, software, and production systems.\nManage and prioritize incidents, service requests, and open tasks through the corporate IT ticketing system.\nSupport end users with workplace technology, including training and guidance to improve productivity.\nInstall, upgrade, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and business applications.\nMonitor and support LAN/WAN infrastructure, ensuring network stability and performance.\nPerform system monitoring, backup activities, and routine maintenance to protect data integrity and system availability.\nMaintain accurate technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base materials.\nSupport servers, workstations, laptops, telecommunications equipment, and mobile devices.\nResolve production-critical IT issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity.\nManage spare IT equipment inventory and coordinate preventative maintenance activities.\nSupport data flow, connectivity, and manufacturing IT operations across shifts, including weekends or nights when required.\nExperience Requirements\n3+ years of experience in an IT support, systems administration, or technical support environment.\nExperience supporting servers, workstations, laptops, and Cisco wired and wireless network infrastructure.\nKnowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019, Windows 10/11, and Microsoft Office applications.\nExperience with Microsoft SQL Server administration and VMware environments.\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nLear Corporation is committed to fair, merit-based employment practices and equal opportunity.\nWe provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable law.
