A better future?\nJob Description\nOperations Manager manages or assists with managing various production activities ncluding:\nEnsure compliance with Lear’s plans and objectives, in alignment with the established vision of Lear EPMS and adherence to customer requirements and expectations.\nAdditionally, ensure compliance with Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety standards and procedures.\nCoordinate resources to meet performance metrics related to quality, production, waste, cost, and delivery.\nResponsibilities\nResponsibilities typically include:\nEstablish, plan, and control the annual Operations goals and objectives.\nEnsure compliance with Quality systems and specific customer requirements.\nContinuously evaluate and monitor the Plant’s production forecast and results to ensure efficiency and adherence to established targets.\nEnsure on-time delivery by meeting production schedules and coordinating Master Production Schedule meetings.\nConduct and coordinate management reviews during Operations meetings.\nInclude follow-up on action plans and continuous improvement projects in management reviews.\nPromote and ensure cleanliness, order, and discipline within the Plant.\nPrepare activity reports for Plant Management and Operations leadership.\nPromote integration and teamwork among direct reports and all employees.\nEnsure completion of performance evaluations for personnel under supervision.\nDevelop, monitor, and ensure compliance with efficiency walks (Gemba walks).\n\nSkills\nTooling\nMaterial Requirements Planning\nSanitation\nCooperation\nMultilingualism\nAnalytical Skills\nMechanical Aptitude\nRoot Cause Analysis\nKaizen Methodology\nRecord Keeping\nMachining\nEducation Requirements\nEngineering Degree or any related.\nExperience Requirements\n+2-4 years of experience as Operations Manager in the Automotive Industry.\nCertifications / Licenses\nLanguages\nEnglish Advanced\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nLear Corporation is committed to fair, merit-based employment practices and equal opportunity.\nWe provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable law.
