A better future?\nJob Description\nACCOUNTING ANALYST\nAUBURN HILLS, MI - ORION PLANT\nAs a member of the Plant Accounting Team, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for weekly payroll processing, reconciling general ledger accounts, month-end close, analysis and reporting in the organization.\nThe Role:\nYour work will include, but not be limited to:\nProcess weekly hourly payroll and complete weekly payroll Journal Entry & Payroll Packet.\nEnsure payroll hours are approved and reconciles with the payroll system\nRecord payroll journal entries throughout the month and month-end (i.e. taxes, vacation accrual)\nProcess weekly Labor Analysis.\nKey part of the month-end close process. Responsible for several journal entries and account reconciliations.\nAssist with quarterly SOX requirements and data collection.\nPrepare fixed assets to go into service.\nComplete the weekly shipping audit.\nCreate and Issue Debit/Credit Memos and Manual invoices as needed.\nParticipate in monthly BOM audits.\nParticipate in annual Physical Inventories.\nReview and observe cycle count process.\nProcess manual payroll check requests.\nAd hoc assignments and reports as needed.\nAdvantages of working at Lear in the Plant Accounting group:\nExposure to a fast-paced environment that allows team members to use judgment and skill to complete task in a timely manner while collaborating with fellow team members.\nQualifications\nYour Qualifications:\nBS or BBA in Accounting or related field\n2-4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment\nAdvanced computer skills (Adobe PDF, Microsoft Excel)\nProven written and oral communication\nBonus If You Have:\nExperienced with Hyperion HFM, Hyperion Enterprise, Hyperion Retrieve or Equivalent.\nPrior Automotive experience preferred\nExperience with Sarbanes-Oxley and reporting requirements.\nExperience with AS400\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nLear Corporation is committed to fair, merit-based employment practices and equal opportunity.\nWe provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable law.
