A better future?\nJob Description\nAs part of the Finance team, the Financial Analyst is responsible for accounts payable, payroll and fixed asset maintenance, analysis and reporting in the organization. They will provide reporting and analysis to facilitate critical business decisions based on financial data and support the plant operations through analysis of and by providing actionable information on key performance indicators and trends.\nResponsibilities\nYour work will include, but not be limited to:\nEnsure payroll hours are approved and reconciles with the payroll system\nRecord payroll journal entries throughout the month and month-end (i.e. taxes, vacation accrual)\nRecord account payable accruals and reconciliation during month end closing entries\nReconcile account payable subledger to general ledger. Identify root cause and resolve differences\nResolve supplier & vendor account discrepancies.\nRecord journal entries and reconcile supplier chargeback reserves during month end close\nWork with Quality and Material Departments to ensure that supplier quality chargebacks are timely processed\nProcess supplier debit/credit memos and monitor for closure\n\nEducation Requirements\nBachelor degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution\nExperience Requirements\nExperience in a manufacturing environment\nStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skills\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nLear Corporation is committed to fair, merit-based employment practices and equal opportunity.\nWe provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable law.
