Work is performed in a clean, bright, temperature-controlled environment. Our Production Operators achieve certification according to a proven training process and actively participate in Lear’s High-Performance Work Team model, geared to achieve plant performance goals and objectives.\nAdvantages of working for Lear at the Columbia City Plant:\nHigh starting pay - $19.00 per hour - with rapid contractual pay progression. The work will include, but not be limited to:\nRead, comprehend, and adhere to standard work instructions (SWIs).\nAdhere to 5S and “World Class Housekeeping” standards.\nParticipate in team meetings and understand performance goals and objectives.\nFollow company rules and policies/procedures.\nFlexibility to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.\nAvailability to work any Shift.\nPerform all other duties assigned.\nYour Qualifications:\nMust be 18 years of age or older.\nMust be eligible to work in the United States.\nMust be able to complete and pass a Background Check, a Drug Screen, and a Physical Abilities Test.\nMust be dependable. Perfect attendance is desired.\nHigh School Diploma or GED (verification is required).\nPhysical Requirements:\nTeam Members are frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms for up to 12 hours a day.\nWhile performing the duties of this position, team members are regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle and feel.
