A better future?\nJob Description\nThe Quality Control Technician is responsible for the programming of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), developing quality control plans, and inspection record sheets. The individual is resposnible for the inspection of precision machined parts by using a variety of precision inspection equipment. The employee will be requried to use this equipment effectively to verify conformance to blueprint and process specification requirements. The role is to define effective and efficient actions allowing to detect and contain quality issues, as well as to correct and prevent them.\nResponsibilities\nProgram CMM's \nPerform inspections across various stages of production\nInspect parts and audit products according to quality and process standards. Inspection can be performed through visual, layout, dimensional , or non-destructuve tests.\nEnsure the compliance or report non-confirming parts/procedures\nProvides support to production, identifies problems in manufacturing and assembly process, communicate within the team to provide solutions\nTrain operators in the best quality practices\nIn-house verification of inspection equipment\nContribute to improving quality through quality improvement plans\nAssist in the investigation and disposition of non-conforming material\nAssist in gathering data, compiling information, and assisting management in the development of metric and reports\nMaintain inspection reports, first article/final insepction, and ISO documentation\nYour Qualifications\nHigh school degree or equivalent required\nAble to perform CMMs\nInspection of precision machined parts including reading blueprints, material, and part specifications, and interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances\nMaintain a working area in a neat and orderly manner\nMaintain effective working relationships with fellow employees\nSelf-starter requiring minimal supervision\nEffective teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills\nGood written and verbal communication skills\nWilling to work overtime as required\nBonus If You Have\nPreferred experience with Zeiss or Hexagon\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nLear Corporation is committed to fair, merit-based employment practices and equal opportunity.\nWe provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable law.
