A better future?\nJob Description\nQUALITY PPAP COORDINATOR\nFLINT, MI\nAs a member of the Quality team, the PPAP Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining and documenting quality processes and procedures. This member will also partner with our management team to align our quality initiatives and functions with the objectives of the business.\nThe Role:\nYour work will include, but not be limited to:\nSupplier PPAP approvals and maintain required supporting documentation, in profile\nCustomer PPAP submissions and maintain required supporting documentation, SQMS\nAttend PPAP conference calls and provide plant updates as required\nMaintain Supplier PPAP Bump Chart matrix\nAssist with PTR coordination and assist in preparing proper documentation\nAttend product audit reviews\nSupport in capability and Gage R&R studies with quality engineer\nMaintain SQMS matrix on New customer program PPAP status\nVerify SQMS PPAP status for service acceptance\nPrint PPAP report out on service as required\nSupport the Bump Chart tracking breakpoints for product changes\nAttend weekly PPAP call, provide feedback as needed\nSupport scanning the seats (Front row, second row and 20%)\nOverlaying with CAD models using Poly works software\nVerify lab requirements are preformed per the required schedule\nCoordinate Assign LPA Assembly Audits and make sure they are completed at plant level\nUpdate LPA board Weekly\nUpdate Line Side Communication Boards weekly\nPerform IATF Internal Audits as needed\nWork with Program Management to understands scope of EWO changes, supplier PPAP target dates & support EWO breakpoint dates\ncommunicated break point dates to customer\nWeekly reviews of supplier PPAP’s during launch to support Non- Saleable, Saleable, and Full MRD’s\nPrepare IMDS request and work with all Lear plants PPAP Coordinates to ensure request are completed timely\nSubmit IMDS request to Lear PETC, follow up and correct issue No BOM issues, supplier and part number issues as necessary\nAttend Weekly Bump chart calls with other PPAP Coordinators, Program Managers & BOM Manager\nReport supplier & customer PPAP status updates\nEstablish supplier and customer breakpoints and update to latest information\nReview upcoming changes, close completed changes\nTrack all ECN and EWO’s\nCompleted 2 IPPM/COPQ Kaizen projects per year to drive improvements\nFill in for Quality Coach as needed\nWeekly call with GM SQE’S, providing PPAP status\nYour Qualifications:\nPrior experience in automotive manufacturing\nBachelor’s degree in a related field\n Experience performing IATF Internal Audits\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nLear Corporation is committed to fair, merit-based employment practices and equal opportunity.\nWe provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable law.
