A better future?\nJob Description\nEnsure the timely and efficient supply of materials required by production through accurate planning and effective procurement management. Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure compliance with timelines, quality, and cost objectives, contributing to operational continuity and the achievement of business goals.\nMeet KPIs (inventory levels, excess and obsolete inventory, expedited freight costs, etc\nResponsibilities\nEnsure the accurate analysis and timely submission of requirements to all suppliers based on customer demand.\nEnsure materials arrive at the plant on time, preventing production line stoppages.\nManage productive material inventories, maintaining optimal inventory levels while avoiding expedited shipments, excess inventory, and obsolescence.\nCoordinate supplier shipments to ensure inventory availability at the plant.\nFollow up with suppliers to prevent under-shipments and material shortage risks. Any supplier-related risk must be communicated to the immediate supervisor or Materials Manager.\nReview cumulative quantities received versus quantities shipped by suppliers on a weekly basis or at least once per month.\nDefine and monitor engineering change cutover points and work closely with all involved areas (Engineering, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Systems).\nWork closely with the Cycle Count Supervisor/Analyst to ensure the accuracy of physical inventory versus system inventory.\nManage supplier performance to ensure compliance with operational requirements such as on-time shipments, deliveries, ASNs, expedited shipments, etc., and issue QNs to suppliers when applicable.\nMonitor receiving, invoicing, and general transaction entry tasks in the QAD system to ensure the correct receipt of raw materials.\nReview the Plant/Logistics PFEP according to the required frequency and ensure requested information is corrected in coordination with the personnel responsible for PFEP administration.\nSkills\nSupplier Management\nInvoicing\nCollaboration\nCapacity Planning\nCycle Counting\nBusiness Acumen\nRisk Management\nSales Inventory And Operations Planning\nCritical Thinking\nPrice Negotiation\nProgram Management\nEducation Requirements\nBachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, or a related field.\nExperience Requirements\nMinimum 2 years of previous experience in Purchasing and/or Procurement within the automotive industry\nCertifications / Licenses\nLanguages\nIntermediate/Advanced English proficiency.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nLear Corporation is committed to fair, merit-based employment practices and equal opportunity.\nWe provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable law.
