A better future?\nWe're Lear For You.\nSENIOR TECHNICIAN - MECHANICAL\nCOMSTOCK PARK, MI\n\nNATURE OF WORK: The Senior Technician reports to the Install Supervisor. Lear designs, builds, and installs equipment for Lear plants globally. Our portfolio includes ASRS systems, automated conveyor, pallet elevators, stackers/destackers, pallet turntables, automatic labelers, shipping trailers, and build line integration. At Lear, we are always looking to incorporate new technologies into our seating plants.\nEXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED (The following duties are typical for this classification. However, any one position may not include all the duties listed, nor do the examples cover all the duties which may be performed.)\nFollows health, safety, environmental regulations, and safety protocols (safety harnesses, fork truck, scissor lift, boom lifts, LOTO)\nBuilds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among all team members\nFollows tasks given by supervision/management\nUnload and move equipment into position, per layout\nMount electrical devices, install cable tray, run sensor cabling, 24VDC circuits, 480VAC circuits, airlines, and ethernet to the equipment\nMake connections into the MCP\nWork with controls team to debug systems\nRead and analyze prints, layouts, and timelines\nReview drawings and verify site inventory\nImprove installation efficiency\nContribute and build to team atmosphere\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:\nMust be a team player.
