A better future?\nJob Description\nAs Supplier Quality Engineer you will be responsible to achieve process goals and objectives by properly manage of procedures, systems and quality strategies, assuring to be aligned to “Get Results the Right Way”, impacting in a positive way to NA Lear plants operations metrics, reporting directly to a Supplier Quality Manager.\nResponsibilities\nInvestigate quality issues with components reported on the production line, collaborating with Quality, Industrial, and Product Engineering departments to ensure an accurate description of the problem.\nGather information for Quality Notifications-with the support of administrative staff or inspectors-including supplier site identification, points of use, traceability data or patterns, and part history (for recurring issues).\nDraft and issue Lear Alerts correctly; contact the supplier to provide notification and establish containment requirements.\nGenerate metrics and performance reports for plant management quality summaries.\nPPAP, Launches and Automotive standards Knowledge.\nKnowledge and experience on audit processes: IATF 16949 - Internal auditor.\nAnalytical mind and excellent problem-solving abilities.\nSkills\nRegulatory Compliance\nProduct Quality (QA/QC)\nEight Disciplines Problem Solving (8D)\nLean Six Sigma\nEducation Requirements\nBachelor’s degree on industrial, electronic, electromechanical engineering or any related field.\nExperience Requirements\nAt least 3 years of working experience in the Automotive sector.\nLanguages\nProficient English Level.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nLear Corporation is committed to fair, merit-based employment practices and equal opportunity.\nWe provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable law.
