This is a hands-on senior role: you will write code, shape technical design, guide other engineers, and work directly with US-based stakeholders.\n\nWhat you will do:\n\n- Design, build and maintain front-end, back-end and API components using TypeScript, Node.js and React.\n\n- Build and integrate AI features using LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or similar).\n\n- Design data models and write optimized SQL.\n\n- Lead technical discussions, review code, and mentor junior engineers.\n\n- Work in Agile sprints with US teams: refinement, estimation and status updates.\n\n- Act as first point of escalation for complex technical issues in your area.\n\nMust-have skills:\n\n- 7+ years in software engineering, with strong hands-on full-stack work.\n\n- TypeScript / JavaScript, Node.js, Express, React.\n\n- SQL, relational data modeling, and query optimization.\n\n- REST API design and third-party integrations.\n\n- Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs and using prompt engineering (structured outputs, system prompts).\n\n- Daily use of AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code or similar).\n\n- Unit testing / TDD and code reviews in Agile teams.\n\n- Excellent spoken and written English, and comfort working directly with US clients.\n\nGood-to-have skills:\n\n- Agentic AI: tool/function calling, MCP, agent frameworks, LLM evaluation (LLM-as-judge, regression tests).\n\n- Responsible AI practices: guardrails, PII handling.\n\n- LMS integrations, e.g. Cornerstone, Workday Learning, or LTI/SCORM-based platforms.\n\n- Python; exposure to Java or .NET.\n\n- Healthcare, EHR (e.g., Epic) or edtech domain experience.\n\n- Experience as a tech lead or mentor.\n\nAbout Straive:\n\nStraive Private Limited (Erstwhile LearningMate Solutions Pvt.
