We are targeting to be in-office 3 days a week.\nRequirements\nJob Description\nWe’re looking for Backend focused Full Stack Engineers to join our team and help bring our AI product roadmap to fruition. If you:\nAre passionate about using technology to have a massive impact in Education, and are excited about using AI to accelerate that mission.\nAre eager to use innovative approaches to AI to find ways to answer the hard questions in education\nAre eager to work with stakeholders across the business, from our CEO to key stakeholders in our product organization, to get things done \nKnow how to build and architect software to get from zero to released\nHave a keen eye for how to prove out complex functionality with real data, and how to tweak and tune to get the best results\nAre always eager to roll up your sleeves and dig in at all stages of the software and product lifecycle - from high level ideation, to working through user stories with the teams to get the product into the hands of users\nUnderstand the flexibility needed to release product in the fastest-changing technology landscape that we’ve ever seen before\nThen we’d love to talk with you!\nCore Goals and Responsibilities:\nDesign, implement, modify, and support the development of software for Learnosity’s AI Labs\nAssist in task planning, estimation, and scheduling, work closely with other teams and management to deliver projects from inception to completion, and ensure documentation is kept up to date.\nDetermine root cause for complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions.\nExperience and Skills\nMust haves:\nAn understanding and experience with agile frameworks and practices.\nGood problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.\nExperience working with Python on web frameworks (minimum of 2 years).\nExperience with various database technologies (relational, nosql, document-oriented, etc) and query concepts in high performance environments\nExperience writing unit and integration tests\nGreat knowledge of design patterns and back end architecture best practices\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to various audiences.\nIt would be great if you had:\nB.Sc or M.Sc degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar\nCommercial experience with AI tools and concepts, including machine learning and large language models\nExperience with Docker\nExperience with Frontend technologies, especially ReactJS and ShadCN\nExperience of TDD \nExperience of Spec Driven Development\nExperience setting up or configuring CI/CD pipelines\nExperience working in a startup environment (we are not a startup but are looking for our AI Labs teams to have a startup mindset)\nBenefits\nValues\nWe are a values-based company, and our 4 core values are the basis for how we work and what we do every day.
