But big changes are coming in how we build, how we scale and how we use AI. We want you to lead them.\nThis is not a role where you inherit a finished roadmap and keep the lights on. You will set the technical direction for the whole company. You’ll make the platform faster for our largest customers and bring agentic development into how the whole team works. You’ll also evolve our architecture so it supports how we package and price our product. Every major technical decision connects directly to the business, and you’ll be the one making the call.\nYou’ll have real freedom to shape the tech organization: how the team works, how it grows, and which practices define it. The team is experienced and self-driven. What it needs is a leader who sets the direction, explains the why, and then gives people room to deliver. We’re a small company with short decision paths, so what you decide on Monday can be in motion by Wednesday.\n\nWhat you will doOwnership of delivery, driving the work from discovery to launch and follow-up, in close collaboration with product management and design as well as marketing, sales and customer success.\n\nLeading a team of 7 highly skilled developers in Stockholm and Ukraine. The team will probably grow by 1–3 people over the coming year.\n\nOwning the plan for agentic development and the modernization of our platform. Our stack is currently Python/Django on AWS.\n\nLeading the way how tech is working with security including the standards for ISO 27001 and in the near future ISO 42001 for AI.\n\nReporting directly to our CEO as part of the management team.\n\nWhat you have experience fromBeing a senior technical leader, such as VP Engineering, CTO or equivalent.\n\nLeading teams of at least 5 people, and ideally coaching other leaders.\n\nB2B SaaS, with an understanding of what enterprise customers need on security and integrations.\n\nMoving tech teams to agentic development.\n\nWorking with a mature product. Refactoring or modernizing larger platforms is a strong plus.\n\nBuilding and running cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure or GCP).\n\nFluent Swedish and English, written and spoken.\n\nYou areA clear leader who delegates, motivates through context, holds people accountable and gives feedback early. You have made tough people decisions.\n\nTechnical enough to dive into the details when it matters. You’re neither a pure people manager nor a lone coding hero.\n\nPragmatic. You choose technology for the sake of the business and understand the financial consequences of architectural decisions.\n\nSomeone who gets energy from building and changing things, not just maintaining them.\n\nExperienced in security work such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2.
