Apply today to join the Summit Air team in Yellowknife!\nClick the link below to see what it’s like to work with Summit Air:\nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wC-W5h3r5Ec&t=2s\nEssential Responsibilities\nConduct maintenance on aircraft and aircraft components as directed by the AME Team Lead\nPerform all maintenance activities in accordance with the applicable standards of air worthiness\nAccurately complete all paperwork for assigned tasks in a timely manner\nPerform independent and critical task checks if trained and authorized to do so\nTroubleshoot faulty systems to determine a course of rectification in conjunction with the Lead AME\nPerform various duties including engine runs and aircraft towing, as trained and authorized to do so\nConduct hangar clean up\nAssist with sheet metal repairs as required\nMinimum Qualifications / Education\nAircraft Maintenance Diploma, or relevant training\nMust have own basic mechanics toolbox\nSkill Requirements\nExcellent troubleshooting and analytical skills\nAbility to take direction and learn quickly\nProven observational, decision-making and time management skills\nMechanically inclined, ability to work with your hands\nComputer knowledge\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to work effectively as part of a team, as well as work independently\nWorking Conditions\nFull Time\nSchedule: 7 days on / 7 days off rotation with 11.4-hour day and night shifts, averaging40 hours per week.\nWorking outside in all weather conditions\nCompensation: $55,490 - $63,240\nAdditional Information\nSummit Air, a member of the Ledcor Group of Companies, delivers customized fleet and aviation solutions safely and reliably to support Canada's North and beyond.
