Apply today!\nClick the link below to see what it’s like to work with Summit Air:\nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wC-W5h3r5Ec&t=2s\nEssential Responsibilities:\nPerforms day-to-day on-aircraft Avionics troubleshooting and repair tasks\n\nPerforms maintenance checks on Avionics systems including but not limited to communications, navigation, autopilot, Pitot-static, radar, AC & DC power distribution and aircraft lighting\n\nCarries out various installations on aircraft\n\nOperates Avionics test equipment including air data test set, navigation and communications, ATC ramp testers, and other electronic test equipment\n\nPerforms all maintenance activities in accordance with the applicable standards of airworthiness\n\nEnsures all paperwork for assigned tasks is complete and accurate before submitting to Crew Chief\n\nIdentifies possible Service Difficulty Report (SDR) situations and reports to Crew Chief\n\nTroubleshoots faulty systems to determine a course of rectification\n\nQualifications:\nMinimum 2 years’ licensed Avionics experience required\n\nTransport Canada AME ‘E’ License\n\nPrevious experience on large transport category fixed wing aircraft; preference given to experience with Dash 8 or ATR 42/72 and/or RJ85/Bae 146 series aircraft\n\nExtensive knowledge of aircraft systems\n\nAbility to work with minimal supervision\n\nStrong troubleshooting skills with good quality workmanship\n\nExcellent listening and communication, ability to work within a timeline\n\nProven organizational and project management skills\n\nWork Conditions:\nThis is a resident role in Edmonton, AB\n\nShift - 7 days on/ 7 days off\n\nAdditional Information\nSummit Air, a member of the Ledcor Group of Companies, delivers customized fleet and aviation solutions safely and reliably to support Canada's North and beyond.
