As a Billing Specialist you will also be responsible for the auditing of processed transactions and reporting of various business functions.Join our Ledcor team in Edmonton, AB!\nEssential Responsibilities:\nProcess and audit billable transactions in a timely and accurate manner\nAccounts receivable, billing preparation and reporting\nEscalate problems with appropriate discretion and expedite resolution to any issues\nAssist in the development, implementation and maintenance of tools and processes necessary to extract and manipulate data for recurring and ad-hoc reporting\nMaintain logical and secure filing system for electronic and hard copy source documents\nReview, audit and reporting of all billing transactions processed, and reporting of various business functions\nMaintain strong working relationships with project team members, client representatives and other key stakeholders\n Qualifications:\nPost-secondary business degree or similar would be considered an asset or equivalent experience\nStrong proficiency with computerized systems (primarily Microsoft Excel and Quickbase)\nMinimum 2 years of accounting experience\nExceptionally well-organized and able to multi-task\nSelf-motivator who can work independently in carrying out assignments to completion\nExcellent communications skills - ability to compose effective and accurate correspondence\nPossess assertiveness yet use discretionary tactics in communicating\nGood judgment and able to handle highly confidential matters\nAbility to deal with non-routine matters, such as special projects with minimum specific instructions\nWork Conditions:\nThis is a hybrid role requiring attendance in the office one day per week, with additional in-office attendance as needed.
