Come join the True Blue team in Edmonton, AB!\nEssential Responsibilities:\nSupports Operations by securing equipment, materials, and services to meet project schedules and requirements.\nCoordinates vendor quotes and evaluates options to for purchasing needs across all departments, ensure cost-effective and timely procurement decisions.\nCreates and supports the management of purchase orders with accuracy and completeness. \nSupports basic commercial review of any term redlines and escalates negotiations. \nResolves invoice discrepancies in collaboration with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure timely processing and payment of supplier invoices.\nCreates and maintains effective working relationships with suppliers to support reliable delivery and service.\nParticipates in identifying new suppliers and escalates performance or capacity concerns as needed\nEnsures procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and client requirements. Applies ethical sourcing practices and supports audit and documentation requirements\nQualifications:\nCollege, Trade or Technical Diploma (2-year) in a business-related field\nBachelor's Degree or SCMP designation\nEquivalent combination of education and experience will be considered\nMinimum 2 years of procurement experience in construction, industrial, or related environments\nExperience supporting industrial construction, mining, or heavy civil projects\nExposure to project-based procurement environments\nWorking knowledge of procurement processes and commercial practices\nExperience with procurement systems (Coupa, JD Edwards, Smart Materials, or similar)\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word\nStrong communication and stakeholder coordination skills\nWork Environment:\nHybrid with Potential to support projects on-site\nAdditional Information\nThe Ledcor Group of Companies is one of North America’s most diversified construction companies.
