This includes coordinating field inspections and surveillances while ensuring that quality standards are consistently met on-site.You will manage documents and procedures, validate quality processes, and support the Project QA/QC Manager in implementing effective quality procedures. Your role will also involve continuously seeking innovative solutions that can be applied directly to projects, driving efficiency and improving overall performance.\nJoin our team and make a significant impact in a dynamic, site-based environment where your expertise and problem-solving skills will be valued.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nCoordinate and walkdown electrical instrumentation systems upon completion to verify compliance with codes, regulations, and engineered design\nCoordinate third party testing inspections and provide status update\nPerform inspections during construction, and prepare reports\nIdentify process improvements\nReview, understand and implement Inspection & Test Plans\nCommunicate with vendor representatives and quality assurance representatives upcoming hold and witness points\nReport on quality issues and document appropriately.\nProvide training on project requirements as they relate to background of expertise\nUnderstand and interpret applicable contract documents, codes of construction and regulatory standards\nQualifications:\nElectrical Instrumentation trade certification or Electrical Instrumentation Engineering Technology Diploma\nMinimum 4 yrs + related experience\nProven ability to manage quality procedures and processes\nAbility to perform inspections in accordance with approved ITP’s and code requirements\nAbility to interpret engineering specifications, design drawings, and installation details\nAbility to interpret Canadian Electrical Code, CEC\nStrong communication skills, confident interacting with key contacts in verbal, written and electronic form\nStrong interpersonal skills, a positive and team-oriented approach to work, dependable and trustworthy\nStrong computer background, proficient in Microsoft Office\nWork Conditions:\nThis is a site-based staff position\nLOA, Travel Allowance\n14 7 Shift Rotation\nCompensation\n$70,400.00 - $96,800.00This is the expected base pay range for this role.
