You’re a team player who ensures the well-being of others and lends a hand where needed.We provide a competitive total compensation package, excellent training, benefits, RRSP and career growth potential with advancement opportunities within our diversified company.\nThis position is site-based and the specific rotation schedule and project location will be determined based on project requirements.\nJoin our team on-site today!\nEssential Responsibilities: \nSupports Ledcor’s core values of safety, quality, integrity, sustainability and success\nEnsure equipment maintenance documentation is neat, concise, timely and follows Ledcor’s document flow process\nMaintain optimum utilization of fleet and manage third party rentals\nManage with the mobilization and demobilization of vehicles and equipment\nUnderstand and become familiar with project scopes, key team members and vehicle and equipment needs \nTo be the vehicle and equipment SME and be intimately knowledgeable of the local equipment used within their project and region. Work with local suppliers to support operational needs with regards fleet up time\nOversee maintenance technicians in servicing and repairing of equipment \nUnderstands and is part of the process for payment of invoices through proper coding and issuing of purchase orders\nProactively analyze equipment performance and trends \nEffectively and efficiently plan ahead based on upcoming work and lessons learned \nQualifications: \nMinimum 2+ years’ experience with fleet maintenance of vehicles and construction equipment\nFamiliar with maintenance and work order practices.\nExperience using MS Office, and an aptitude for learning various computer systems.\nFamiliarity of JD Edwards or equivalent, an asset\nStrong problem solving skills\nAbility to work independently, manage multiple tasks and set priorities\nCapable of understanding and following written procedures\nWork Conditions:\nThis is a site based position\nAdditional Information\nThe Ledcor Group of Companies is one of North America’s most diversified construction companies.
