Apply today to join Ledcor Technical Services in Grande Prairie, AB today!\nLearn more about working at Ledcor: Watch here.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nInstall, maintain, and repair various voice, data, VoIP, security and Automation communication systems and equipment\nConduct thorough site surveys to assess installation requirements and develop effective plans to ensure successful deployment\nEnsure all work orders and related documentation, Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHA), and Job Summary Reports (JSRs), are completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner\nMaintain compliance with internal processes and regulatory standards\nProvides clear and professional communication to customers regarding job progress, estimated arrival times, and any delays\nProactively identify and communicate issues related to overbooking or underutilization to maintain service efficiency and customer satisfaction\nBuilding on your customer service skills, you will ensure work orders are completed\nDrive to and from customer locations in a defined geographic area performing installation and repair of services on behalf of our client\nUtilize a laptop computer and various software applications\nQualifications:\nMinimum 1 year of experience in a telecommunications role, or relevant training and experience working with any telecom network company or provider (such as service provider, wiring installation technician, security installation technician, etc.)\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English as required\nMust have and maintain a valid provincial driver’s license, provide a clean driver’s abstract\nSuccessful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol requirements, criminal background check\nProven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong organizational and prioritization skills\nExperience with rack and stack procedures for new equipment installations is considered an asset\nSkills in running and terminating low-voltage cabling, including fiber optic and copper lines is considered an asset\nProficient in patching and uplinking network connections to ensure optimal performance is considered an asset\nStrong troubleshooting and testing skills for telecom networks and related infrastructure is considered an asset\nWork Conditions:\nCompany vehicle, cell phone and tools provided\nHome based dispatching\nTravel to various sites is required\nThis role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions\nMust be comfortable working in confined spaces\nAble to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 75 pounds), working at heights, and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.) \n Additional Information\nLedcor Technical Services (LTS) designs, builds, and maintains wireline or wireless networks that span North America and beyond.
