Join the Ledcor team at Fort McKay AB.\nThe successful candidate will have a strong heavy civil background, hands-on experience operating heavy equipment, and the ability to lead a crew in a safe and productive work environment.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nSupervise a crew of equipment operators\nAssist with planning and coordinating daily site activities\nCommunicate project priorities, work plans, and safety expectations to crew members \nPromote and enforce Ledcor's safety culture, policies, and procedures \nConduct toolbox talks, daily safety meetings, and site hazard assessments \nComplete daily reports, production tracking, and other required documentation \nQualifications:\nMinimum 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role \nMust have reclamation experience (dump site setup, soil stripping, windowing and material stockpiling)\nMust have experience in haul road construction\nMust have experience operating equipment: haul trucks (777/785) , dozers (D6 to D10) and excavators (20-80T)\nLeadership training is highly preferred\nGround Disturbance 201 certification\nMust have a good attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to work as part of a team\nMust successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing\nMust be available for day / night shifts\nWork Conditions:\n14 days on / 7 days off , working 12 hours per day\nCamp accommodation provided\nTravel allowance\nCharter flights from Edmonton / Calgary\nExtended Health & Wellness Benefits provided by CLAC Albert\nWork performed outdoors in varying weather and ground conditions\nAdditional Information\nLedcor builds and maintains infrastructure in various industries including oil and gas, transportation, and mining.
