Apply today to join our team!\nEssential Responsibilities:\nConducts maintenance on aircraft or aircraft components as directed by the Director of Maintenance / AME Technical Lead. \nPerforms all maintenance activities in accordance with the applicable standards of airworthiness. \nEnsures all paperwork for assigned tasks is complete and accurate before submitting. \nEnsures all maintenance alerts and memos are read, understood and complied with. \nIdentifies possible Service Difficulty Report (SDR) situations and reports to Production Supervisor. \nTroubleshoots faulty systems to determine a course of rectification. \nCarries out the applicable elementary servicing release of an aircraft as authorized to do so by their individual Shop Certification Authority (SCA).\nConducts hangar clean-up. \nTravels with an aircraft and apprentice / mechanic if it is assigned away from base for an extended period of time, as required. \nAssists with sheet metal / avionics repairs as needed. \nMay perform other related duties as assigned. \nQualifications:\nPossess Transport Canada AME M Training Diploma. \nPrevious hands-on line experience on aircraft in the Summit Helicopters fleet preferred. \nHold a valid Canadian Passport and possess a valid driver’s license \nAbility to take direction and learn quickly \nStrong verbal and written communication skills \nAbility to work effectively as part of a team, as well as work independently \nFlexibility to work shifts including afternoons and weekends \nWork Conditions:\nThis is a resident role based in Squamish, BC.
