Your knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems will be key in addressing project complexities and achieving project goals.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nOversee construction to ensure alignment with approved plans, specifications, and building codes\nContribute to M&E Scope of Work and Tender Packages by reviewing specifications, drawings, budgets, and subcontractor contracts\nDevelop and manage mechanical and electrical schedules, including submissions, deliveries, installations, and inspections, track progress and address delays\nSupport Project Managers and Superintendents with schedule updates, RFIs, shop drawing reviews, and project completion requirements\nPlan and implement manpower levels, material needs, and equipment availability\nCoordinate mechanical and electrical work, ensuring alignment with project requirements\nResolve conflicts in structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings and specifications\nPerform preventative maintenance checks on HVAC, boilers, chillers, and other systems\nOversee functional performance testing of building systems\nLead project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to monitor progress\nMentor and guide project team members to support their development and career growth\nMaintain project quality through compliance with the Project Quality Program\nQualifications:\n6+ years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role managing large ICI construction projects, with a focus on mechanical and electrical components\nExperience in full-cycle construction; healthcare and design-build project experience are preferred\nStrong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, boilers, chillers, and electrical systems\nProven ability to manage subcontractors, ensure quality, and maintain safety compliance\nFamiliarity with OH&S and environmental standards\nExceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills\nValid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug and alcohol test\nWorking Conditions:\nSite based position in Caledon, ON!\n#LI-NC1\n#LI-Onsite\nCompensation\n$115,200.00 - $153,600.00This is the expected base pay range for this role.
