With your coordination expertise, you’ll help drive the success of mining projects, ensuring the integrity and safety of the construction process.\nCome join our True Blue team today!\nEssential Responsibilities:\nCoordinate and oversee day-to-day operations of mine planning and mine construction projects\nUtilize mine planning software for drill & blast design as well as overall mining strategy on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis.\nHelp convert a 5 year mine plan and a 3 month rolling mine plan into weekly execution plans.\nWork closely with project management to monitor project schedules, budgets, and mine resource allocation\nManage communication between internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution of mine project tasks.\nPrepare and track progress reports, change orders, RFIs, and other project documentation\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of mine activities, including material and equipment tracking\nInterpret mine plans, operational drawings, and project specifications to support field supervisors and crews\nPerform quantity calculations, production tracking, and daily progress reporting\nAssist in developing shift plans, work packages, and operational sequencing for mine site activities\nSupport surveying and layout tasks, including verification checks, control point management, and as built data collection\nParticipate in safety reviews, toolbox talks, and mine site safety meetings\nProvide oversight and coordination support to field operations and contractor activities\nPerform basic engineering calculations and assist with technical documentation and drafting\nAssist with organizing crews, equipment assignments, and work area logistics\nPerform site visits to monitor progress, verify work quality, and resolve any issues on-site\nEnsure that all work activities are completed in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards\nQualifications:\nMinimum 3-5 years of experience in project coordination or mining engineering, specifically within the mining industry\nStrong knowledge of mining construction processes, with a focus on hard rock open pit mining\nProficiency in using project management software (Ineight, Procore, MS Project, or similar), as well as Microsoft Office Suite specifically with Excel.\nPrevious drafting experience and experience with mine planning software would be considered an asset - Programs such as Datamine, Rock Manger, Studio OP, Trimble Business Center, Carlson, Surpac, AutoCAD, Electronic Detonation Systems, \nAbility to read and interpret mine plans, drawings, specifications, and contracts\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively\nExcellent communication skills to coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders\nKnowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance\nDegree or diploma in Mining/Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field is an asset\nWorking Conditions:\nThis is a site based position\nAdditional Information\nThe Ledcor Group of Companies is one of North America’s most diversified construction companies.
