The role combines critical-facilities monitoring and first-line maintenance with network smart-hands, fiber testing, equipment installation, incident response and outside-plant support. Work is ticket-driven and performed in close coordination with the customer Network Operations Center (NOC), approved vendors and site leadership.\nApply today to join the Ledcor Technical Services team!\nEssential Responsibilities:\nOperate, inspect and document critical facility systems, including BMS/PMS, generators, UPS and DC plant, HVAC/CRAC, fire/life-safety systems, utility services and general building conditions\nComplete scheduled rounds, first-line maintenance and vendor coordination within assigned authorization\nProvide NOC-directed network smart-hands support, including inspection, patching, loopback and signal testing, OTDR and optical power testing, equipment reboot or replacement, circuit implementation and fault isolation across SLTE, DWDM, DCN, PFE and related systems\nRespond to alarms, incidents and emergency callouts\nProtect life and infrastructure, support restoration, escalate appropriately and maintain accurate ticket updates and communications\nSupport equipment receipt, rack-and-stack, power and signal cabling, labeling, initial configuration, commissioning tests, troubleshooting, as-built updates, inventory, RMA and calibration coordination\nSupport OSP/fronthaul route surveillance, BMH and OGB inspections, initial fiber-fault response, vendor escort and compliance with site safety, security and environmental requirements\nQualifications:\nMinimum of 4 years experience in telecommunications, data centers, critical facilities, industrial maintenance, fiber optics or network operations\nCable landing station, submarine cable, SLTE, DWDM, PFE, critical-power or critical-cooling experience\nExperience troubleshooting operational systems and working from procedures, MOPs, drawings, alarms and work orders\nFiber-optic inspection, cleaning, patching and testing using OTDRs and optical power meters\nSafe monitoring and first-line work on critical power, cooling, BMS and facility systems within authorization limits\nInstallation and replacement of network hardware, cabling, basic configuration/connectivity tests and as-built records\nStrong incident communication, documentation and customer service in a 24/7 environment\nMust complete customer-required screening before assignment, maintain access eligibility and complete role-specific training\nWork Conditions:\nComfortable with secure cable landing station, data hall, equipment-room, office and outside-plant environments, including controlled-access areas with exposure to energized equipment, noise, temperature variation and coastal weather\nAble to meet the physical requirements of the position which include regular walking, standing, bending, climbing stairs or ladders and handling tools, test equipment and hardware\nOccasional travel may be required for training, certification or support of other customer locations\n Additional Information\nLedcor Technical Services (LTS) designs, builds, and maintains wireline or wireless networks that span North America and beyond.
