In this site-based role, you’ll partner closely with project directors, construction managers, and field teams to drive cost, schedule, risk, and reporting performance.You’ll be embedded with onsite leadership, providing strategic and hands-on project controls oversight to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, predictably, and in alignment with company objectives.\nIf you’re a proactive leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and wants to play a critical role on high-profile civil projects, this is your opportunity.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nLead the development, implementation, and management of project controls systems, including cost control, scheduling, progress measurement, and reporting\nOversee project budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking processes, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timely identification of variances\nManage and maintain integrated project schedules, including baseline development, updates, critical path analysis, and recovery planning\nProvide leadership and mentorship to site-based project controls staff, including coordinators, schedulers, and cost analysts\nLead change management processes, including evaluation, documentation, cost/schedule impact analysis, and client reporting\nSupport contract management efforts by coordinating with commercial teams on claims, variations, and subcontractor performance tracking\nMonitor project performance metrics and provide clear, data-driven insights to project leadership and senior management\nQualifications:\n8+ years of progressive experience in project controls, including leadership roles on heavy civil or infrastructure projects (earthworks, highways, bridges, rail, or large-scale utilities)\nProven experience managing cost and schedule controls on complex, high-value projects in a site-based environment\nPost-secondary education in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field (degree preferred)\nAdvanced proficiency in project controls tools such as Primavera P6, cost management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite\nStrong understanding of construction project lifecycles, including estimating, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, execution, and closeout\nDemonstrated experience with contract administration, change management, claims support, and risk analysis\nExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence both field and corporate teams\nWork Conditions:\nThis is a site based position\nAdditional Information\nThe Ledcor Group of Companies is one of North America’s most diversified construction companies.
