From real time coordination and progress tracking to supporting on the ground execution, you’ll play a key role in delivering complex earthworks projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.If you thrive in fast paced environments, love being out in the field, and want to grow your career on marquee civil projects, this is your opportunity.\nApply today and build your future with Ledcor.\nEssential Responsibilities: \nInterpret construction drawings and specifications to support field crews and craft supervision\n\nPerform quantity calculations and track progress of installed materials and work\n\nAssist in developing work plans and work packages for field execution\n\nSupport field surveying and layout, including elevation checks, control points, and as-built data collection\n\nCompile and verify daily labor timesheets and field reports\n\nParticipate in safety reviews, toolbox talks, and site-wide safety meetings\n\nCoordinate and schedule material deliveries to meet project timelines\n\nPlan and organize work groups on-site to ensure efficient execution\n\nProvide oversight and support to field operations and subcontractor activities\n\nPerform basic engineering calculations and assist with technical drafting\n\nQualifications:\n4+ years of experience in field engineering, project coordination, or a similar role within heavy civil construction Proven track record supporting complex earthworks projects across multiple phases\n\nEducation in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field (bachelor’s degree preferred)\n\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling tools such as Primavera\n\nExperience with construction planning software, 3D model viewers, and document management systems\n\nStrong communication skills with the ability to lead coordination efforts and interact confidently with stakeholders\n\nIn-depth knowledge of construction processes including project setup, subcontractor management, RFIs, change orders, and closeout\n\nDemonstrated leadership, mentorship, and problem-solving capabilities\n\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail\n\nWillingness to travel and remain on-site for the duration of each project\n\nWorking Conditions:\nSite based position\n\nAble to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 75 pounds), working at heights, in confined spaces and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.)\n\nAbility to work a non-traditional schedule that could include nights and weekends\n\nAdditional Information\nLedcor Heavy Civil and Mining services reach across the lifespan of a mine, from facility construction, to full-scale contract mining of coal, minerals, or metals, all the way to mine reclamation.
