With your coordination expertise, you’ll help drive the success of mining projects, ensuring the integrity and safety of the construction process.\nCome join our True Blue team today!\nEssential Responsibilities:\nCoordinate and oversee day-to-day operations of mine planning and mine construction projects\n\nUtilize mine planning software for drill & blast design as well as overall mining strategy on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis.\n\nHelp convert a 5 year mine plan and a 3 month rolling mine plan into weekly execution plans.\n\nWork closely with project management to monitor project schedules, budgets, and mine resource allocation\n\nManage communication between internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution of mine project tasks.\n\nReview and interpret construction drawings, technical documents, and specifications to ensure all work complies with project requirements\n\nPrepare and track progress reports, change orders, RFIs, and other project documentation\n\nEnsure that all work activities are completed in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards\n\nPerform site visits to monitor progress, verify work quality, and resolve any issues on-site\n\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of mine activities, including material and equipment tracking\n\nAssist in the preparation of tender documents, subcontracts, and purchase orders as required\n\nProvide support to project teams by facilitating meetings, ensuring proper documentation, and tracking project milestones\n\nQualifications:\nMinimum 3-5 years of experience in project coordination or mining engineering, specifically within the mining industry\n\nStrong knowledge of mining construction processes, with a focus on hard rock open pit mining\n\nProficiency in using project management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar), as well as Microsoft Office Suite\n\nPrevious drafting experience and experience with mine planning software would be considered an asset - Programs such as Datamine Studio OP, Trimble Business Center, Carlson or Surpac\n\nAbility to read and interpret mine plans, drawings, specifications, and contracts\n\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively\n\nExcellent communication skills to coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders\n\nKnowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance\n\nDegree or diploma in Mining/Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field is an asset\n\nWork Conditions:\nThis is a site based position\n\nAdditional Information\nThe Ledcor Group of Companies is one of North America’s most diversified construction companies.
