Ledcor Group of Companies is a diversified North American construction and services company headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, working in building, civil infrastructure, energy, electricity, mining, communications networks, properties and transportation. Founded in 1947, the privately held group operates across Canada and the United States, maintains highways, runs mining and heavy civil projects, and owns businesses such as the Yellowknife-based airline Summit Air and the Vancouver Harbour Flight Centre. It hires highway maintenance operators, mining and heavy civil project managers, superintendents, maintenance planners, HS&E advisors, pilots and IT specialists.
Our Foundations division is growing, and we’re delivering complex piling, deep foundations, and ground improvement projects across the region. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong foundations and heavy civil construction expertise.

In this site-based role, you will lead project execution from planning through completion, overseeing project teams, client relationships, budgets, schedules, and operational performance. Working closely with superintendents, engineers, field personnel, subcontractors, and clients, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

If you’re a results-oriented leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to drive the successful delivery of foundations construction projects, this is your opportunity.

Come join our team today!

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of project execution, including planning, coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and resource management
  • Manage project financial performance, including cost control, forecasting, change management, and profitability
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules to ensure milestones and client commitments are achieved
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams, working closely with superintendents, field staff, subcontractors, and consultants
  • Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact throughout project execution
  • Oversee project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, progress reports, and contract correspondence
  • Administer subcontract agreements and supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with project requirements and commercial obligations
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to support successful project outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contract requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations
  • Support project start-up, execution, and closeout activities while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 7+ years of progressive experience managing foundations, piling, ground improvement, or heavy civil construction projects
  • Strong understanding of project controls processes including budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, reporting, and contract administration
  • Experience managing project financials, change orders, claims, and client relationships
  • Proficiency with construction management software, Primavera P6, Excel, and document management systems
  • Strong knowledge of foundations construction methods including piling, drilling, shoring, and ground improvement techniques
  • Proven leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
