Applies the requirements of the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP) to promote overall compliance of Ledcor HS&E standards, applicable OH&S Acts, regulations and codes with all employees and subcontractors on the project\nLeads overall design effort, manages design managers and coordinators on design-build jobs, and oversees project control processes\nDevelops and maintains the construction schedule in conjunction with project team to meet milestones and completion dates\nFacilitates project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to monitor and support the project’s ongoing progression\nLeads all aspects of subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement and negotiations for complex projects and design-build projects\nWorks with project team to identify and manage opportunities and risks to achieve the best possible impact on schedule and financial targets\nMaintains, tracks, and reports financial aspects of project including forecasts and billings\nProvides strong leadership to team members, capitalizing on individual and group strengths to ensure project targets are achieved\nQualifications:\n5 + years of related work experience in managing telecom or similar utility / civil construction projects\nExperience with managing and maintaining either OSP networks for long haul or FTTH projects\nCompleted post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering or related discipline an asset\nComprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, current construction practices and methodology\nGreat understanding of construction costs and budgets\nAbility to communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple stakeholders, anticipate stakeholder needs, and proactively identify solutions\nCapable of identifying constructability issues in complex situations and creating solutions in the construction plan and schedule\nA track record of building successful teams and promoting teamwork through motivating, coaching, and consensus-building\nEffective organizational and planning skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities\nWorking Conditions:\nThis is a hybrid work position where you will be required to be in office multiple times a week\n Additional Information\nLedcor Technical Services (LTS) designs, builds, and maintains wireline or wireless networks that span North America and beyond.
