You’ll support structural steel erection and installation while working with an experienced team committed to safety, quality and craftsmanship.\nJoin the True Blue Ledcor team!\nLearn more about working at Ledcor - watch here\nEssential Responsibilities:\nErect, install and align structural steel components, including beams, columns, platforms and pipe racks, according to engineered drawings\nPerform bolt-up, torquing and structural assembly to specification\nPerform rigging and signalling for crane lifts and safely guide loads into position\nRead and interpret blueprints, drawings and lift plans to support accurate installation\nComplete FLHAs and follow site safety procedures, including fall protection and permit requirements\nOperate and inspect tools, rigging equipment and access equipment\nSupport material handling, site organisation and general crew activities\nComplete work safely and efficiently while meeting Ledcor’s standards for quality\nRequirements:\nJourneyperson Ironworker ticket from a recognized provincial training authority\nApprentice Ironworkers must be registered with a provincial training authority\nPrevious industrial construction experience\nComfortable working at heights\nValid Fall Protection certification\nValid government-issued identification\nAbility to complete all required project and site orientations prior to starting work\nWork Conditions:\nLocation: Fort Saskatchewan, AB\nSchedule: 10 days on / 4 days off\nWork will be performed in an active industrial construction environment\nWork may involve exposure to varying weather conditions, heights and physically demanding tasks\nAdditional Information\nLedcor builds and maintains infrastructure in various industries including oil and gas, transportation, and mining.
