You’ll also foster strong working relationships with clients, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and fellow site staff to maintain a collaborative and solutions focused work environment.\nWe are committed to the long term success and wellbeing of our employees.\nCome and join our Heavy Civil Construction team today!\nEssential Responsibilities:\nSupervise all aspects of civil construction operations, ensuring compliance with approved plans, specifications, and company standards\n\nMaintain high-quality workmanship while optimizing labor and material efficiency\n\nEnforce site safety protocols that meet or exceed corporate, client, and regulatory requirements\n\nMonitor and update construction schedules to meet milestones and production targets\n\nReview supplier and subcontractor invoices for accuracy and report discrepancies\n\nHire and manage hourly field staff in coordination with the Project Manager\n\nPrepare and process field change orders with client representatives as needed\n\nLead planning meetings with Maintenance and Operations to ensure equipment readiness and operational continuity\n\nQualifications:\n5-10 years of experience in a supervisory role within heavy civil construction, with a strong focus on earthworks\n\nProven ability to manage project schedules and adapt to changing site conditions\n\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify solutions to complex challenges\n\nEffective communicator who can tailor messaging to various stakeholders\n\nCollaborative leader who fosters teamwork and consensus\n\nWillingness to travel and remain on-site for the duration of projects\n\nWorking Conditions:\nSite based position\n\nAble to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 75 pounds), working at heights, in confined spaces and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.)\n\nAbility to work a non-traditional schedule that could include nights and weekends\n\nAdditional Information\nLedcor Heavy Civil and Mining services reach across the lifespan of a mine, from facility construction, to full-scale contract mining of coal, minerals, or metals, all the way to mine reclamation.
