Join our Technical Services team in Ontario today!\nLearn more about working at Ledcor: Watch here.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nHire and manage hourly employees as required to complete the project in consultation with the Project Manager\nEnsure that site safety measures meet or exceed the parameters set out by corporate safety manual, Workers’ Compensation Board or any other authorities\nEnsure that projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, applicable building codes, and that efficiency in labour and materials maintain high quality standards\nReview, maintain and update the construction schedule and ensure milestone and completion dates are met\nPlan and execute system completion and system turnover\nMaintain, approve, and submit hourly digital timesheets with all necessary details for job costing and reporting purposes\nPrepare field change orders to be signed by project owner or representative when requested\nReview subtrade/supplier invoices against the field purchase orders and report any discrepancies to the Project Manager or the accounting department\nManage the safety and performance of subtrade work \nPerform other related duties as assigned\nQualifications:\nCertified Journeyperson Powerline Technician\n15+ years of powerline construction experience and 5+ experience as a superintendent\nCombination of work experience in a similar role and industry related trade certification/education\nExperience on industrial / oil & gas, or mining projects and asset\nUnderstanding of industrial documents and the ability to ensure that they are complete, protect the owner’s interest, clearly define expectations and provide incentive to perform\nKnowledge of construction costs and budgets\nStrong safety record and the ability to work with a variety of individuals\nAbility to plan and manage a project schedule\nAble to focus on developing long term partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure our contributions to their continuing success\nInfluence client and/or organizational leadership to accomplish operational objectives\nAnticipate problems or challenges, propose innovative solutions, and ensure solutions are consistent with project objectives\nWorking Conditions:\nSite-based role, with a possible rotational shift depending on project location\nA living out allowance or accommodations will be provided. Travel allowances will be provided\nIn between projects will be a mix of in-office work and work from home\nCompensation\n$112,000.00 - $154,000.00This is the expected base pay range for this role.
