You will be an integral part of the Ledcor team supporting an LRT expansion project in Edmonton, AB, working closely with project and materials teams to ensure the right materials are available where and when they are needed.Join the Ledcor team in Edmonton, AB and help deliver a major transportation infrastructure project!\nEssential Responsibilities:\nEnsure materials are shipped, received, handled, and stored safely, accurately, and in accordance with project procedures\nCoordinate with project teams, field personnel, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support the timely issue and distribution of materials\nMaintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts, stock checks, system updates, and supporting documentation\nContribute materials and warehousing expertise to improve operational efficiency, site logistics, and material-control processes\nMaintain and organize Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Material Test Reports (MTR), and other required material documentation\nOperate, inspect, and maintain material-handling equipment in accordance with safety requirements and manufacturer guidelines\nUnload deliveries, verify materials against packing slips and purchase orders, identify discrepancies, and distribute inventory to designated project areas\nPrepare orders for delivery or pickup, including picking, loading, packing, wrapping, labelling, staging, and shipping\nMonitor stock levels, communicate low-inventory items, and support timely replenishment to prevent project delays\nPrepare reports related to damaged or defective materials, shortages, overages, and delivery discrepancies\nQualifications:\n1-2 years of warehouse, materials, logistics, or construction industry experience, preferably in a high-volume project environment\nExperience supporting civil infrastructure, transit, commercial construction, or a comparable project environment is an asset\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate inventory and material records\nAbility to prioritize effectively and adapt to changing project demands in a fast-paced environment\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with project teams, field personnel, suppliers, and other stakeholders\nForklift and/or telehandler operator certification and related operating experience are assets\nProficiency with inventory systems and Microsoft Office applications is an asset\nSuccessful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing may be required\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and contribute effectively within a team environment\nAdditional Information\nThe Ledcor Group of Companies is one of North America’s most diversified construction companies.
